In a landmark case of anti-piracy, four Swedish men who ran thepiratebay.org, a torrent tracker website, were sentenced to a year in jail and $3.6 billion in damages to companies for pirating intellectual property. While I don’t particularly have a stance on the issue, after looking into their website, those assholes got what they deserved. The Linotype letters were particularly incendiary to me.
