The past few days, J and her roommates have gotten me hooked on this TV show, Bones. It’s one of those crime fighting forensics shows - the protagonist is named Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan, who is a forensic anthropologist who studies the bones of dead people to solve murder cases. She works with an FBI special agent, Seeley Booth, who is as much of an expert at reading people as Brennan is at reading skeletons. Brennan works at the Jeffersonian Institute, where she heads a team of brilliant super-nerds who specialize in different fields, to solve these murders. As silly and whimsical as it sounds, I’m tempted to study biology or chemistry or something so I can solve murders too. :D
Basically, this show is all sorts of awesome, but it doesn’t do so awesome on the TV ratings. Check it out, though - you won’t be disappointed.
